The following happened with Windows 11 24H2 v26100.1742 and NTLite v2024.10.10089 (licensed).
After having "solved" the problem of not installing updates i'm now running into another problem without being able to find the cause of it:
My settings mainly are set by selecting the predefined presents privacy, games, lite plus a few others (see the attached preset).
This worked fine and fast and although also here it happened that the Explorer was broken for the first created user after the first login, this bug was fixed by installing the latest update KB5044284.
But later when I came to the first installations of programs/apps I wanted to select the standard app for several file extensions in the Windows settings. I opened the apps section, clicked onto Standard-Apps, selected a specific file extension, clicked on it and nothing happened. I tested for a lot of extensions, also by selecting for example the app Notepad or Editor and then in its list of preset file extension, but in no case the list of possible programs/apps popped up for selection.-
Then the latest Windows update was installed automatically and - oh wonder - this bug was fixed.
But after having run NTLite again to remove the re-installations the bug was back.-
Which setting in my enclosed preset is or may be the cause for this bug?
Please help me with this issue.
