After installing the latest CU Preview (KB4571744) on Windows 10 Enterprise 19042.450 x64 pt-pt and running NTLite's Remove Reinstalls feature, I'm unable to set any browser as the default one because I only have the option to search for an app on Microsoft Store. On "Set defaults by app", no browser shows up too. Also, the default program which runs RTF files was WordPad and it started running them with Microsoft Word (I was able to change it to WordPad, though). I ran sfc /scannow and it detected corrupted system files. It asked me to restart Windows, I did it, ran sfc /scannow a second time and this time it didn't detect any corrupted system file but this issue wasn't fixed as well as after running the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command (it also supposedly fixed some things).

Confirmed, for example reinstall Chrome or whatever browser you use for it to appear on the list.
Will fix it eventually, it bothers me as well as I update and trim each month.

So, one may have this problem again after installing future CUs and using NTLite's Remove Reinstalls feature? I have an error when I try to install Edge Chromium and after reinstalling Chrome it now shows up on the default browser setting and on "Set defaults by app" so I had to set all of its previous settings again.

EDIT: I was able to uninstall Edge Chromium by removing it with Revo Uninstaller, afterwards reinstalled it and now it shows up on the default browser setting and on "Set defaults by app" like with Chrome before so I had to set all of its previous settings again. Will I have to do all of this every time I install a CU and run NTLite's Remove Reinstalls feature from now on?

EDIT 2: I installed the LCU and used NTLite's Remove Reinstalls feature and I'm not having this issue again.

Confirmado, por ejemplo reinstala Chrome o cualquier navegador que uses para que aparezca en la lista.
Lo arreglaré eventualmente, a mí también me molesta porque actualizo y recorto cada mes.
yoHi, I'm having this problem currently on 24h2 I used ntl and removed everything I didn't want, everything is perfect now except I can't set my browser as default,So discord links for example, won't open I'm using thorium browser portable, on a clean system it can be set as default but on the iso I just finished it can't be set, I've searched everywhere, Do you have any suggestions? By the way, I wish you happy holidays! I replied here as I did not want to open a new thread as I currently found these threads, I hope you can help me By the way, if I install Thorium Browser in its installable edition, it can be added as default, but not the portable one, as I said before, on a clean system If you can, then it's definitely something I've eliminated,I only left edgewebview and native webview

With W11 23h2 and 24h2, I remove everything related to Edge with NTLite (Webview too) and other components
And no problem installing Chrome (Edge too), etc...

However, some components must be kept so that the links (url) work, especially for 32-bit software too
It is indicated in the description of the component when it is necessary, among other things

Sin embargo, algunos componentes deben conservarse para que los enlaces (URL) funcionen, especialmente también para software de 32 bits.

yoHi, would you be so kind as to tell me which are those components that I should not remove so that the URLs work? You would do me a big favor. Merry Christmas

I would share my settings, but in reality they are around 10 since I was doing everything in sessions, I must find a way to solve this, it would be the only problem I am currently facing.
