Hello,

I found a strange message while unzipping the Win10 (1803) ISO Image generated by NTLite with 7Zip: "There are some data after the end of the payload data."

When I unzip the original Win10 ISO I do not get this warning.

What is the reason?

Thank you!

yeah, very common, for years. Through hundreds of occurrances, i've never experiienced any related data corruption or any other problems. i don't know if it generalizes beyond 7zip but i have a vague memory of it being a long-standing minor bug (essentially cosmetic), relating to how 7zip handles I/O (..bluuuh, or something).

That would seem to confirm, or not cast doubt on, the idea that it's a low-priority issue. And that "There are some data after the end of the payload data." is not a warning/error that has been linked to corrupted data from unzipping the associated archive.
