Could anyone assist me in updating my computer? I'm not sure why this is happening.. I didn't go crazy and strip any major components out of my installation.. Not sure what's going on..

Presets are always helpful for us to look at and try to help work out what went wrong......

'Invalid Delta combination' means DISM cannot extract the update, since the underlying base package is removed.

Are you applying updates to an image with removed components? If you're making an offline image, the rule is always start with a clean ISO and then apply updates, before removing any components in the last step.

I don't think this is what you need, there isn't much information in this xml
I have stripped some components out of my installation, an iso was created and installed onto my machine. I had no issues updating at first and then all of a sudden this started happening. I wanted to see if there was some way to fix it before reinstalling and to make sure it didn't happen again.

If more information is needed, please bear with me, I will get it, just let me know what is needed.

Thank you.

This preset doesn't cover any previous edits, do you have the one used to build the original image?

Sadly i do not.. is there any other way to get it? I have the latest log file from after I pressed 'remove reinstalls' button.
I thought ntlite placed a file somewhere on the pc that held the config used to build its initial iso?

NTLite creates an auto-saved copy for you on the ISO, and inside your NTLite Preset folder. If you're new to NTLite, it's a lesson to keep the preset files around (they don't take up much space).

This NTLite.log doesn't reveal any clues to why DISM is failing. That's why the older files are more important.

Would the host refresh option potentially remedy this|..? i feel like i should just strip the iso again (it wasnt much) and reinstall.

I think this might be a result of .net framework being unable to install. I cannot enable it from the features panel inside windows or using the installer from microsoft website. Getting error code 0x800f0806

If I remember correctly, there was some optional .net framework updates inside ntlite that I ran a few months ago and this started happening. Doesn't appear to be a way to reverse that. Anyone ran into this before?
