VMware Workstation keeps stopping

Hi, I am trying to make a lite image to run on it the VMWare Workstation soft, I need to have a lite OS that leave most resources for the VMWare Workstation VMs, the preset is working ok; VMWare Workstation is working, but there is just one issue: the service "VMware workstation server" can't stay on "started" mode, it keeps stopping, any experience on this?
UPDATE:
decided to install a normal OS...

VMWare Workstation Server is autostopping itself when not needed, regardless which Windows you have.
If I'm wrong, let me know.

Remove this file: C:\ProgramData\VMware\hostd\datastores.xml
This is a bug VMware.
