1. Have I broken something, as I have no 'network' folder showing in file explorer? All works fine, but only disks show, no 'network' folder, but connected fine.
(config below)

2. Is there any way to skip the stupid '3 questions if you've forgotten your local password' nonsense at start?

Kind thanks.

Open your preset in Notepad, and remove this line:
Code:
<Tweak name="{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\ShellFolder\Attributes">-1332477852</Tweak>

No. While there's a reg key for disabling the three security questions, but the last time I checked, it breaks OOBE.

Other users online have confirmed it's not compatible with OOBE :(. The workaround is to enter a blank password in OOBE; and add the reg key later, so future passwords don't require any questions.

Thank you kindly garlin.

Is the preset edit something to be worried about?, as in, something the user has done, or, just MS being a total pain again, like with the latter question?

What do you mean? If you change a Setting in NTLite, the preset doesn't save each change using the setting's on-screen description.

Instead it uses part of the actual reg key's path as an unique identifier. Then it's much easier to ask someone to look for an exact line to remove, since it's never translated into a different language for each user.

It's much faster for me to point out the line with a problem, and ask you to delete it in Notepad. Less confusion over instructions.
