Hi everyone

Obviously i took out a few thing to much, anyone know what cause that ??
I try to install a few programs and i get the instruction at .... Error
I did some research then they say to run a command line and it will fix that but my command prompt is messed up hehe

Thanks

PLease post your last session file, it always helps issue hunting.

Thats the one :). Question, you are modifying an old build number, whay dont you use the same as your host pc?

Probably is a old build number, its what i had and seams like there is less in the older one then the new one.
I am trying to make a iso image for my cnc machines just to run the minimum needed
This chair is more comfortable and this pc is 100 times faster then the cnc machines pc
I test my image with virtual box

Kinda of what i am going after is windows 95 with the performance of windows 10 haha o_O

CnC machines, gotcha, stability, no forced updates breaking stuff, no need to update every month. What i would do is look carefully at the pc you plan to run your cnc machines from and see what other os's it can run, what drivers are availible. 7 and 8.1 can be tuned and are no slouches.

Them forced updates has cost me tens of thousands of dollars,
I am guessing what you are saying is Windows 7 is easier to strip down then windows 10 ???
I guess i want me cake and eat it too with ice cream and Cherry on it hehe

Windows 7 and 8.1 are more stable than w10, they dont get silly feature updates every month. They are more mature and nuhi got them sorted long ago, now he has to wrestle with 10 twice a year and sift through ms bugs. My presets are here, w8.1 preset and tweaks here. I dont know what requirements you need for cnc work but i advise you got light at first, if its stable enough and tweaked it might be enough, i prefer stable to really lite/barebone.

I always liked windows 7, i guess i should look for a 7 license
I thought with ntlite you can remove all the windows update BS ??

And i will have to check if that computer had windows 7 drivers, its brand new

I deally you want to keep that machine away from the internet.
Yes and no, I have them on my network everything is saved on a network drive and each machine go and get the jobs from there
easyer then haveing 50 usb keys floating around

If its a new off the shelp hp or dell then he will probably be locked down to 10 and make the best of whatever build it came with.
If its an internal network then he prolly got firewalled up the wazoo. Because its for manufacturing i reckon its best just to go lite with tweaks at first.

Thees computer are the machine, its a windows base controller its pretty easy and works well, once you know it a bit you can modify you machine to do anything,
Its a new acer machine, i used to build my own PC in the old days, and now for a few hundred bucks its not worth it
I buy 2 and when it fails swap it and get a new one hehe

You have no idea, sometime down time cost double triple the cost of a cheep computer, machine stops working operator stands there with his thumb up his A**, Cost of labor, messed up materiel, pissed off customers etc... when i can i keep parts for pretty much everything, takes a few minutes to swap a part, takes days to order new part etc... and more expensive they know you need it now, and shipping is more

I hate this windows 10 hehe, its stopping the ntlite from working
I fixed this last night, i fogot have to look it up again
MS are A** H**LS I worked at a government outfit and it was nothing but a cat and mouse game with them and corel to the point were they had to get rid of corel GRRR

For starters I'd suggest updating from NTLite 1.7.0.6522 and doing a refresh of the source files from the ISO. Then I'd say go in and check OOBE compatibility before trying again.

I cant really figure out how to refresh the list so i can see what i have removed
I feel stupid asking, how do you do that ??

You are removing too much, try to keep:

Event Log
Input Service
Input Service (32-bit)
Internet Explorer HTML Viewer (32-bit)
Windows Component Database
Windows Component Store
All:
Windows Management Instrumentation

All removable components doesn't mean trouble free, some are needed for third party programs or Windows itself.
