Hi everyone
I have the following problem, can annyone please suggest some solutions?

"The computer was unexpectedly restarted, or an unexpected error occurred. The Windows installation cannot continue. Click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation."View attachment 13810

Could be several reasons - a picture don't show - so inform what version of W10 and attach your preset from NTL course the problem - without any personal info as usual - thanks.

Are you trying to use "[Prompt]" for a Computer Name? Another user recently reported the same problem.

You stil got the Answer file? Please upload this file for troubleshooting

two files?
unattend.xml and autounattend.xml

Can fix the unattend.xml It is probably a combination of errors in both of these files that is causing this error message.

Hi
Thank you for your reply.
Alpolgy for my late reply.
No I specify the computer name in the answer file.

Fixed the unattended.xml file. Compared it to a working 23H2 version using VirtualBox/VMware. Have been tested by try and error

autounattended.xml offers more features and is placed in the root folder (e.g., USB stick), unlike unattended.xml.

Will remove the autounattended.xml to reduce some confusion

copy unattended.xml "C:\Windows\Panther\unattend.xml" and remove the bypass if necessary (optional).

I have attached the answer file.
Does your actual file say "<ProductKey>XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX</ProductKey>" as the real activation key, and you're not substituting X as a placeholder in the uploaded version?

Windows runs a product key validation check at this step (by running a hash). Any failure will stop Windows from installing.

Hi
No Francis11 asked me to remove the product key from the answer file before posting the answer file here.

1. Run a clean install again, and wait for the error message.
2. Open a CMD window with Shift-F10.
3. Copy "C:\Windows\Panther\unattend.xml" to your USB drive (which should be writable).
4. Share that file here (after removing any passwords or license key).

Have fixed the file also compared to a working unattended file test with virtualvox or WMare workstation or something you like just rename to autounttend.xml I compared it against a fully working one for 23H2

Remove the bypass things if (not necessarily)
Thank you very much I appreciate it I will try it:)
