ive worked in the past with NTLite and have created some Win10 and Win11 iso, where ive removed some unnecessary stuff etc.

Now im trying to make a Win11 ISO where i remove some unnecessary programs and main with is automatic set up and installing some drivers.

I was not able to get the iso to work, allthough compatibility is set in the tool bar and ive not removed any critical services or components.

Troubleshooting using the setup log file after installation fails isnt really helpful as it only shows "progress 99%" and then it stopped.

How can i go about this?

Normally you follow the same process as everyone, and attach your preset for review (after removing any user account passwords or license key).

I have had issues with 25H2 and not with other builds. Might be the reason but knowing what you removed would help us.

can i somehow export the set options of ntlite to show you?

Or should i just try it with WIN11 24H2 maybe?

When you wrote "ive worked in the past with NTLite", I presume you know what a saved preset is.

You can upload the preset file from your "C:\Program Files\NTLite\Presets" folder.

Or check if your last ISO had the Auto-saved.xml in the top folder. Without a preset, it's difficult to track your editing changes. You should always be saving to a preset, before Applying changes.

i reverted back to 24h2 and the first preset (v1.0.0) worked fine and did what i wanted and installed with no problems.

But after adding some regfiles stuff like start menu and taskbar pinned apps as well as auto starting a specific app the installation failed. Preset Version 1.0.1

Can someone see why v1.0.1 fails to install or what it could be?

Without the actual reg files and XML layouts, it's hard to determine why it's failing. But I would try the simple "divide and conquer" test.

Take the second preset, and remove all the installers. Test the image. This is a sanity check that the installers are not the problem. If the problem is still there, you know which "half" contained the problem. Without the installers, testing the next image also goes faster.

It could be your XML layout is incorrect. I've seen someone mention you can't have "<!-- -->" comment tags in 24H2.
