Hi,

is it possible that the Nlite update list is outdated ?

Even if I did include kb5049981 cumulatide update, when I install windows, it will download:

kb5001716 (2020-05)
and
KB4023057 (2023-10)

Thanks

Don't worry about those updates...if you plan on keeping 22H2; keep updates on the low. For me having 22H2 for the longest time and only recently just updated to 23H2...22H2 was a excellent build with Ntlite without a lot of cumulative updates installed.

Are you talking about windows 11 ? I am not aware of windows 10 23h2.

NTLite's Download Updates list mostly keeps track of the W10/11 Monthly Updates and critical Security fixes. There are other Windows updates which are exclusively pushed out to live systems by WU, and cannot be downloaded for integration.

Those "missing" updates may include OOBE and Windows Update packages.

KB5001716 is the W10 22H2 End of Life "nag" update, which is intended to remind you W10 is ending support. It doesn't do anything helpful other than making Windows Update annoy you with warning messages.
  • When this update is installed, Windows may attempt to download and install feature updates to your device if it is approaching or has reached the end of support for your currently installed Windows version. Feature updates offer new functionality and help keep your device secure.
  • After this update is installed, Windows may periodically display a notification informing you of problems that may prevent Windows Update from keeping your device up-to-date and protected against current threats. For example, you may see a notification informing you that your device is currently running a version of Windows that has reached the end of its support lifecycle, or that your device does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for the currently installed version of Windows.

KB4023057 is another Windows Update nag for W10/11 End of Life systems.

I wouldn't be worried about not having these updates integrated. To prevent WU from nagging you, use Settings to enable Windows Update / Target release version and change the value to "22H2".
