Windows 10 LTSC IoT host refresh and failed license validation

Hello everyone,
With yet another OS update with host refresh, this time the final surprise appears: Windows is unable to validate the product key...


I should point out that the copy of Windows being updated is properly licensed and activated on Microsoft servers......

Thanks to anyone who can tell me what's wrong this time....for anyone who wants to look, I'm also attaching the preset used.

I guess the issue it must be at ei.cfg
Go to your iso>sources folder and search for ei.cfg
Right click to edit, it should be

[EditionID]

[Channel]
Volume

[VL]
1

Save it and try again

Se viene rimosso il file Sources ei.cfg e l'immagine finale ha più di un'edizione, all'utente verrà richiesto di selezionare l'edizione di Windows durante l'avvio della ISO. Se viene visualizzato l'errore "Impossibile trovare le condizioni di licenza software Microsoft", copia questo file dall'ISO originale e riprova.

Hello Garlin,
I searched for the ei.cfd file by mounting the original edition of Windows 10 LTSC IoT but as you can see the file is missing:


After that, I loaded the original Windows 10 LTSC image (no IoT) and the file is there!



I opened the ei.cfg file from Win 10 LTSC and the contents are this:



I have no idea why Microsoft doesn't include the ei.cfg file in the Windows 10 LTSC IoT ISO.

Now what do I do? Do I copy the file into the sources folder?

Ok Jerry, i've tried to copy the file in the sources folder of the ISO that i've prepared for update via refresh mode but the problem remain. Appears the same warning "Setup has failed to validate the product key"......
