Maybe I just have bad luck, but I've been having really weird issues lately with Windows 11 after using NTLite.
First was on a normal Windows 11 Pro for Workstations install, probably either 23H1 or 23H2. It worked fine for over a year, and then cumulative updates started failing to install, which is fairly normal with NTLite. So go use the Host Refresh wizard and it would get to 99% or so and then rollback with the dreaded "The installation failed in the SAFE-OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation" error. I even tried booting from USB and doing it that way, same thing. The only "fix" was to completely wipe the drive and reinstall. This time using 11 LTSC 2024.
I now have 2 LTSC 2024 installs that are ~4-5 months old that are doing the exact same thing again. Installing CUs fails (either using Windows Update or manually), tried Host Refresh and same MIGRATE_DATA error. So I'm probably looking at another clean reinstall.
Has anybody else had this issue? I've never had Host Refresh / update installs fail so often before.
