Windows 8.1 Enterprise 6.3.9600.19358 Updated to May 2019 - Remove Problems

There are problems with removing the following components for Windows 8.1 updated to may 2019 with NTlite v1.7 & v1.8

Drivers.Printers - All Removed
Drivers.Network Adapters

NTlite don't have to write changes to install.wim:

Dependent Hyper-V Guest is not shown in the Compatibility choice , Hyper-V Host is shown there.
In the preset only Hyper-V is mentioned.

Can you give advise what i'm doing wrong?

BTW: in NTlite 1.6 these drivers will be removed without any problem.

Hi,

due to Windows Update compatibility, it had to be protected if Hyper-V Guest component is kept (not talking about Hyper-V host as you said, but the component).
Reason is that cumulative update can have an update for that driver, and it gets triggered by HyperV package.

So either remove Hyper-V Guest, or Windows Update and disable Servicing Stack compatibility, as removing that driver while keeping the rest is like willingly breaking cumulative update installation so no point in keeping Windows Update.
