Windows Update error code 0x800f081f (W11 24H2)

I have updated a windows 11 24H2 (26100.1741) downloaded from Microsoft to version 26100.2314 with NTLite, using the default settings of the program.
Every time I install it, in a VM I can succesfully updated to 26100.2454 without issues.
If I use the bellow settings I can't update it (cumulative update)
Always getting this message "we couldn't install this update but you can try again (0x800f081f)"
Any idea what it might be wrong?

Integrate updates first and finish (Apply) - then load image again so your updates will be integrated for removals.
 
When you try to integrate the CU, it is on an untouched image (no component deleted, etc...) so

Could there be a problem between Windows 10 IoTEnterpriseS (Host) and the Windows 11 image ?

Otherwise, no problem to integrate updates and remove components in the same session
 
I have the Windows 11 24h2 Insider and the same problem.
Microsoft's October and December updates broke the system.
Everything is buggy and the problems with games...
The 24h2 update is the problem :(

Google is already screaming with complaints.
Every Microsoft update makes the system worse than before and then you have to wait months until it is fixed.

Rule #1 is: never be the first to install new major updates... it's sad

MS has reported this WU failure as a known 24H2 issue.
Windows systems installed from 24H2 images updated to Oct 2024 (26100.2033) or Nov 2024 (26100.2314), will fail to self-update.

Issues might occur with media which installs the October or November update
When using media to install Windows 11, version 24H2, the device might remain in a state where it cannot accept further Windows security updates. This occurs only when the media is created to include the October 2024, or November 2024, security updates as part of the installation (these updates were released between October 8, 2024 and November 12, 2024).

Please note, this only occurs when utilizing media - such as CD and USB flash drives - to install Windows 11, version 24H2. This issue does not occur for devices where the October 2024 security update or the November 2024 security updates are installed via Windows Update or the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

Workaround: To prevent issues, do not install Windows 11, version 24H2 which installs the October 2024 or November 2024 security updates. Instead, ensure that media used to install Windows 11, version 24H2, includes the December 2024 monthly security update (released December 10, 2024), or later.

Next steps: We are working on a resolution and will provide more information when it is available.

Original 24H2 images or those updated to Dec 2024 (or later) are fine. MS is working on a fix for systems that already have been installed with the two earlier patches. If you can reinstall from an updated ISO, then do that.
