denywinarto, thats a bug not a problem with the preset itself, unless you modified it in some way. Post and include the session file in Questions and Suggestions. :)

Hmm i didnt mod it at all...
But i settled with the lite version though, just 1 question, search in explorer is disabled.. i tried oppus as some recommended here.. but im getting query.dll not found.. So any idea which features must be enabled to bring back explorer search?

There is a Search box at the top of the page. It is probably in System.

yeah i tried the search..
"Shell" only finds shell hardware detection and powershell
"search" only finds Microresearch MR560rpc

could it be different in Windows x64 December 2017?

Its in System. If its not on yours, its already been modded.
Thanks, my bad i used a modified iso from previous session, still not familiar with Ntlite yet...

btw any news on new windows 10 presets? :)

The only time i start from a previously modified iso is when i create a new iso that has updates only and no removals which i use as a baseline image. Dont know about about w10 presets, thats Kasuals baby now. What you can do and i have already recommended is to load your w10 image and thhe 1607 preset. Study it carefully because its quite a lite preset that shouldnt give any problems. It removes 3rd party drivers unless they are needed by a compatibility option, Languages and Keyboards, many Media and Windows Media player components, Internet explorer and some system components. Most people use 3rd party browsers and media players anyway. :)

Remember the funny behavior here which I reported earlier. If you open UI Ribbon to Paint and Wordpad and uncheck those two, UI Ribbon will remain grayed out, even tho its children have been removed.

When I look in my Preset, I can't find UI Ribbon. But I can find Wordpad and Paint.

So apparently there is some vestigal component of the UI Ribbon that is left in when UI Ribbon is gray.

I dont like the UI Ribbon and Paint is crap so i always remove both components then enable Menu Bar.

yes, i dont like me to but if disabled then auto-show "no beauty" grey bar.

Idea: if have solution how disable or hide "gray bar" then is better.

I love the advance version for windows 10! Total size of my system was 5gb, smallest I've see so far! I have a question though. Why does the size of the system increase as soon as I disable some features like windows defender or one drive, compared to leaving the preset as is?

I selected disable on both windows defender and one drive, so I think? I wanted to remove or at least disable it, and keep the same system size the same. But just disabling some features, drastically increases the size from 5gb(preset) to 12-14gb(preset and disabling more features) I'm not sure how that drastically blows up the size?

The usual spacehogs are pagefile and hibernation(on my 4gb system are between 3 and 4gb each), system restore points, perhaps windows update downloaded stuff. Keeping(and disabling stuff in FEatures) will increase the size(obviously). I have never noticed a preset install growing by 7 to 9gb though. Hmm, do you have a Windows.Old folder on the c drive?
