Intel RST Drivers not working. Failed to load

Hello, I would like some help loading the standard Intel RST drivers to detect internal HDD/SSD.

Currently when I try to manually load them my NTLite ISO breaks. Please review my two videos.


This video is showing: Untouched WIN ISO Method: WORKING
  1. Downloaded latest WIN ISO untouched from Windows site
  2. Made USB stick with Rufus
  3. Booted on laptop and loaded Intel RST drivers


This video is showing: NTLite Custom ISO Method: FAILED
  1. Made NTLite custom ISO ( I thought RST drivers were included )
  2. Made USB stick with Rufus
  3. Booted on laptop and no drive detected, so I tried to load RST drivers
  4. RST drivers failed to load and what's interesting is I chose the same RST drivers pack as the other method, but it's showing me different drivers to choose from.The installer freezes up and doesn't allow me to choose any more drivers.

The end goal is to have the RST drivers loaded on NTLITE ISO. Internal drives are loaded correctly.

We didn't see how you integrated the RST drivers into the image. Presumably you've already extracted the 19.0 RST drivers from a "F6" ZIP file or from the Setup installer to a local folder, which was copied to the USB device.

When an install image is mounted, you should be able to import this same folder from the Drivers screen.

If that is what you tried, it's possible there's a driver version conflict with the default Intel driver set bundled in your Windows release.

Windows uses a driver ranking system to pick which driver to install based on how close to a specific match a driver is to the actual HW ID, and a combination of the driver version and release date. Sometimes it ends up not picking the right driver you expect, and your storage device is not found. This happens more often than users think, and is a frequent complaint on Dell and HP support forums.

Assuming you are importing the extracted driver folder correctly, here are some suggestions:

1. Confirm with your PC's support site, it's the right RST driver version. Or find a newer version of the same RST family (ie. 19, 18, etc.) from the Intel website.

2. Remove the default Intel storage drivers from your loaded image. Apply changes so the default drivers are removed. Now import your driver folder, so there is no chance of driver conflict.
 
Try put to "source" folder on USB all files from orginal image "source" folder.

acmigration.dll
acres.dll
actionqueue.dll
etc.
