NTLite is free to download and use in its basic version for personal and trial purposes.

If you like what you see in the free version, you can unlock all the features and support further development by purchasing a license.
Same license works interchangeably for 32 and 64-bit versions.

The license code can be used to activate online and enable the premium features, with the File-Register menu option. Offline activation over email.
A license is valid for one user and can activate on up to 5 machines on which the tool runs on. You can edit unlimited number of images.
Activation can be backed up, independent of Windows installation. That license data is not being written to the edited images.

We use a reliable payment processing company, 2Checkout, now Verifone (previously Avangate).

Depending on your country, VAT or Sales Tax will be automatically added to the price.
Taxes cannot be refunded after the purchase, please follow instructions how to order properly.
For VAT exemption, apply the VAT-ID during the purchase, make sure VAT is visibly removed before finalizing.
For US sales tax exemption, or any payment-related questions, please contact the shop processor.

After purchase you will get the license code in the email, usually arrives within minutes, up to 30 minutes due to routine payment confirmations.

Support lifecycle is at least the same as that of a supported Windows version mainstream support, more info here.

Your license never expires for the purchased feature set. Included are also any new premium features for a year starting from the first activation (beta included).
To unlock new premium features added after that year, you can renew the license at a 50% discount for another year – choice is yours if you see something interesting in the changelogs, anytime.

As an example, a premium feature can be a new component removal, Windows version support or a new functionality of the tool.

Renewals do the following:
– append a year from the day of its activation, plus any remainder from the previous license
– resets the activation count
– replaces your previous license code. After the renewal, only the new code is needed to activate the next time, previous one gets disabled

If you choose not to extend the license premium feature upgrades, your existing license will continue to work with future versions anyway, getting all the bug fixes for your set of features accumulated through the previous year for as long as the tool supports the given Windows version.
Windows ‘moments’ are also considered a separate version, introduced after Windows 11 22H2.

License type upgrades, e.g. Home to Professional, do the following:
– changes type of the license
– resets the activation count
– refreshes the date of the new features up to the day of an upgrade, if expired
– reuses the existing license code

License supports offline mode, does not require you to be online to use the activated tool, but that also means no deactivations. Once you spend all 5 activations, contact support for a reset. With proper license backup, that shouldn’t be necessary often, if ever, as it only depends on hardware.
