Logs
Where NTLite keeps its logs and crash dumps, and how Send logs packs them for support.
NTLite writes a log of every session, and a crash dump when it crashes. Support asks for them first, so here is the quickest way to hand them over, and where they are if you need them by hand.
Send Logs
Menu → Send logs packs the logs, crash dumps and presets you pick into one package, saves it in your Downloads folder and opens an email to support naming its path. Nothing is sent automatically - you attach the file yourself.
Leave Remove private information ticked to replace account names in paths and strip names, passwords and product keys from presets. It is best effort, so open the package and check it before sending.
Log Folder
Logs and crash dumps sit in %ProgramData%\NTLite\Logs. ProgramData is a hidden folder: paste the path into the Explorer address bar to open it.
NTLite.log- the current or last sessionNTLite_dism.log- what DISM did during that session- Earlier sessions, with their date in the file name, kept for about a week
NTLite.dmp- the last crash, if there was one
With a custom Data folder (Menu → Settings → Storage), they are in <Data folder>\Logs instead.
Older versions kept the log in the temporary folder: %TEMP%\NTLite.log.
